Meditation Gatherings

Meditation Gatherings are Open House format: Newcomers and drop-ins very welcome. The emphasis is on group meditation practice, with short discussion of a topic. Sunday Open House meets most Sunday mornings in Irvington, and Tuesday Community Meditation at 7pm in Bedford Hills. Meanwhile our Weekday Morning Meditation 8 AM continues on Zoom. Drop-ins welcome!


Sunday Open House Meditation Gathering

Please join us on Sunday mornings for a community gathering including meditation practice, discussion, and readings. We gather to meditate for two 20-minute sessions with a walk and stretch in between, then listen to an inspiring reading, and have a group discussion. This program is open to everyone. No registration is required. No experience is needed.

  • Meditation instruction, for those that are new to meditation or need a refresher, is available.

  • Cost of attendance is by donation. Recommended donation is $10 per meeting

Weekday Gatherings

Community Meditation

Tuesdays: Through Dec 10th - except Nov 5

Time: 7:00 – 8:30 pm

Location: Bedford Hills Community House, 74 Main Street, Bedford Hills, NY

Fee: $96 for residents; $110 for non-residents for 12 weeks; $10/class for drop-ins.

Community Meditation is a program for both new and experienced meditators who want to experience the mutual encouragement and connection of gathering in person, as a support for developing and maintaining a personal meditation practice.

No prior experience is necessary. Meditation Instruction available for those who wish it. The Fall sequence begins on Sept. 17, with a focus on mindfulness meditation technique.

Morning Meditation

Weekdays: Monday through Friday except holidays

Time: 8:00 – 9:00 am Eastern

No Fee: Consider a donation.

Connect with friends for a morning weekday meditation practice. No experience is required. Open to all.

The format consists of two 20-minute meditation sessions separated by 5-minute walking meditation or mindful stretching. A brief reading or guided meditation is presented by teachers-in-training and WMC’s teachers,followed by a brief discussion.

Please join us any or all of the days. Drop-ins welcome. Meditation instruction is available for those who wish it.
